Working with schools

We offer schools a number of stand-alone workshops to enhance the curriculum with outdoor learning and cooking. We can provide workshops on:
Getting Growing with Micro Greens; Growing a Herb Garden (indoors or out); cooking workshops using local seasonal fruit herbs and vegetables; harvesting, preparing and cooking workshops using schools own grown produce.

We also work with schools on longer programmes to set up and run their own growing and cooking projects.

We enable schools to teach children about where food comes from. We provide real hands-on experience for the children of growing and cooking food from planting seeds to eating finished dishes.  Contact us to discuss a bespoke programme for your school which fits with your curriculum aims.

“Becky’s enthusiasm for gardening is infectious and the project has appealed to gardeners and non-gardeners alike! Best of all our children have become enthused and re-energised by our school garden. They have absolutely loved spending time there and Becky has created a real buzz in school” Rachel Colbourn – Headteacher, Bramhope Primary School
